Privacy Policy

This policy applies specifically to the Breathe Everyday Android app. The broader Habuild corporate privacy policy covering the habuild.in website and other Habuild services is available at habuild.in/privacypolicy.

What the app stores on your device

• Settings — the active breathing pattern, custom timings, and toggles (haptics, notifications). Stored in DataStore preferences in the app's private sandbox. Removed when you uninstall.
• Temporary screenshot — created only when you tap Share. Saved to the app's cache folder and exposed to your chosen share target via Android's FileProvider. Cleaned up by Android.

Permissions the app asks for

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — so the session notification can show while a breathing exercise is running. You can deny this and the app still works; you just won't see the session in your notification shade.
• VIBRATE — for the haptic cues that mark inhale, hold, exhale, and cycle-complete.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE and FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE (subtype breathing_session_timer) — keeps the timer accurate when your screen is off or the app is backgrounded. Active only during a session.

Network behaviour

The current version of Breathe Everyday works fully on your device with no network activity. If this changes in a future version, we will update this page and the Google Play Data Safety declaration before the new version ships.

Analytics

This version does not use any analytics service. If this changes, we will update this page and the Google Play Data Safety declaration before the new version ships.

What we do not collect

• No name, email, phone number, or account information
• No location (coarse or precise)
• No device identifiers, advertising IDs, or IMEI
• No contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or health data
• No session history or usage statistics leaving your device
• No third-party advertising SDKs

Third parties

The current version of the app integrates no third-party SDKs or services. The Share feature invokes Android's share sheet; any recipient app you choose has its own privacy policy.

Children's privacy

Because the current version collects no personal data at all, the app is safe for users of any age.

Your rights under the DPDPA, 2023

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to access, correct, and erase your personal data, and to raise grievances with a designated officer. Because Breathe Everyday holds no personal data about you — nothing leaves your device — these rights are effectively fulfilled by:

• Uninstalling the app, which removes all settings.
• Android Settings → Apps → Breathe Everyday → Storage → Clear data.

Changes to this policy

We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page whenever we make changes. For material changes, we'll also call them out in the next app release's notes.

This policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Nagpur, Maharashtra. This policy is designed to comply with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
